Hey, I'm back!

Sorry it has taken me forever. School and work have been keeping me busy. Aside from my math class, school is going pretty well. As for math, it ain't lookin' too pretty. lol.

The holidays are coming up, and boy am I ready. Actually, I think I am more excited about Thanksgiving than I am about Christmas right now. Weird, huh? It's probably just bcuz Turkey Day is closer. Anywho...I am almost done with my Christmas shopping, aside from buying goodies & stuff for my Christmas party.

As for the critic in me, I haven't seen very many movies lately. I did go and see "The Prestige," which is excellent. It is a bit hard to follow if you have attention span issues. Overall, it is visually stunning (duh, it's got Christian Bale & Hugh Jackman), and it has a clever plot. The end is great. Plus, I cannot wait for Pirates 2 to come out on dvd.

I don't know what else to share. Oh wait, I got a speeding ticket. It kinda stunk because other people were going the same speed as me, but I'm the one that got pulled over. Oh well. I'll try to make sure it doesn't happen again. Well, that's all for now. Ciao!

  Hola amigos!

School is going...um, erm...well, it's going. As for work, my schedule is supposed to be getting more routine-like and not change so much. It looks like I'll be working Mondays, Thursdays, and alternating weekends.

Anywho, lots of things are coming up. It's gonna be a busy month! First and foremost (hehe) is my Birthday!!! I am gonna be 18. Isn't that craz-za-zy?!?! Yeah, I know that's not what crazy really sounds like, but hey, that's what I typed. Other things coming up are homecoming, a wedding, youth group halloween party, Halloween, and (somewhere in between all that) my birthday party. Yay!

Also in important news is the fact that I have added another excellent album to my CD collection. Clay Aiken's "A Thousand Different Ways" is actually good--yes, I know I'm biased--but I actually mean it!

And to celebrate, I have gone a bit image crazy. Above is the newest header I created. Below is the one I had posted a couple days ago. Yes, I know they feature the same quote, but hey I like it. The quote is from Dolly Parton's "Here You Come Again," one of the songs Clay covers on his album. Enjoy!

Added NEW Pics to the header! Enjoy!

Back again...(for what  seems to have become a monthly update). I should probably update more often because my memory is failing me. August is going by so quickly! Hmm...since last time, I have seen "Talledaga Nights: The Ballad of Ricky Bobby," gone tubing with my youth group and bowling with some friends. I have also gone to the zoo and the mall, etc. Yeah, I had to use a cheesy, tie-it-all together generalization because I simply cannot remember everything. Oh yes, work on the new yearbook has begun. Well, selling advance copies of it, at least. Not much else yet.

*****

And oh yes, I also have some pictures to share, so enjoy.

Kelly and me at Versluis Park for a beach day with Naomi.

Here are Kim and Katie.  And yes, they are fighting over Dots.

Wes, Eric and Isaac "sleeping" on the way home from Mich. Adventures.

I also went to orientation and got my schedule. Let me know if anyone has the same class(es) as me!

(1) Hon Physiology - Finkbeiner; (2) Gen. Psychology - Phillips; (3) Journalism - Szpieg; (4) Yearbook - Feeley; (5) US Gov - Watson B; (6) AP Calc - Reusch

Ahhhh....sorry it has taken me soooo long to update!

I've been a bit busy with yearbook (yes, we're losers and are still working on it in the middle/near end of July!!!), hanging out with friends, and work. Yes, I repeat--WORK! I got a job. Yays! I now work at the highly esteemed Kaleidoscoops. LOL. I don't even know if I spelled that correctly or not. I should know that, shouldn't I? Hehe. ^_^ For those of you who aren't well informed individuals, that is an ice cream place & beyond. The beyond being breakfast foods and like 25 different sandwhich options for lunch.

Anywho...let's see, I've thrown a surprise birthday party for a friend, gone to the beach, seen Pirates of The Caribbean: Dead Man's Chest twice, got a nice car, got a job, went to Michigan Adventures, and worked myself to death on a still-unfinished yearbook so far this summer. Hmm...I'm probably forgetting something, but that's what I get for waiting over a month to update.

Actually, I've been cheating on xanga with myspace. I just got in the mood to make it spiffy. LOL. And as my dear friend Jessica says, it is now very "glammified"! If you wish to check it out, my name is the same there as it is here.

Hmm...what's up next for me? Well, I have a 3pm-11pm shift coming up next week, hope to help finish the yearbook, want to see Lady In The Water, and am going to go tubing with my youth group. So yeah, that was a fairly quick and descriptive summary.

And oh yes, I've also been watching the best reality show in the world! Big Brother All Stars rocks! I am rooting for two ppl who are completely opposite sides. My beloved Kaysar and the evil Dr. Will. Gotta love BB7. LOL.

BTW...the video is again from youtube (I am addicted to that site), and as the header says, it is the lovely Keane performing a wonderful song from their amazing sophomore album.

***EDIT: I saw Lady In The Water and must proclaim that there's something wrong with critics. Do they not see the same film as the audience sees? Sure, you need to suspend your disbelief in order to follow this film, but it is thoroughly enjoyable, entertaining and visually stunning. M. Night's acting is also pretty good considering his part in this film is more than a cameo.

*New Header: Clay Aiken has a NEW CD coming out in September. YAY!

I can't belive we're more than halfway through June! It still hasn't completely sunk in for me that school is over (and that I am now a senior). Isn't that crazy?

Anyway, I am very happy because I am now officially a liscensed driver. Yeah, I know...it took me long enough, right? LOL.

So yeah, now that I have my car and liscense, next on the list is a job. I'm in no hurry, but I need to get one for July since my schedule is mostly full for June. I have filled out a couple applications and am gonna turn them in soon. I still have to do a couple ones online too.

In other news, Keane's new album "Under The Iron Sea" came out yesterday! Unfortunately, no job means no money, so I won't be able to buy it for a while. VH1 came to the rescue, thankfully. I was able to listen to the album online. It's really good, and I can't wait to get it! (Note my shameless plugging here and in my header).

Well, that's all for now. I think. I'll add more later if something noteworthy comes up.

--BTW, changed the video header. I really am becoming addicted to YouTube. LOL. There are sooo many great videos to choose from. For now, I have chosen a tribute to Mr. Frodo Baggins. Enjoy!

EDIT: Go to http://www.cbs.com/primetime/bigbrother7/  to vote for Kaysar to be on "Big Brother: All Stars." It is a sin if you vote for anyone who wasn't part of the Sovereign 6. LOL. Just kidding. But if you vote for someone else, vote for Kaysar as well. Hehe. ^_^

***EDIT: The video header has been changed once again. I am indecisive, I know.  Anyway, the video is for BSB's song "I Still." It is a great song, and surprisingly, a great video. However, America isn't cool enough cuz it wasn't released over here. 'Tis for the British, the Japanese, etc. LOL.

And also, to my dear Mariah...it was lovely having you over. And well, if you get to claim Cillian Murhpy, I am sooooo calling Robert Pattinson. LOL.
